Weber 28/32 Rebuild

Includes both BVH/BVM carburetors. There are typically two problems, other than dirt buildup inside the unit, with the two barrel progressive Weber used on the D models. The first is a warped mounting base that allows air to enter the intake manifold. The second is a worn primary throttle flap shaft bore allowing unwanted air to enter during normal running. Units are disassembled. Bases are either milled flat/pressed flat or a combination of both, depending on severity of the curve. Primary throttle shaft is bushed as well as secondary, if needed. Bodies are ultrasonically cleaned. Reassembled with new gaskets and pressure tested to ensure proper functioning of needle/seat/float. All jets are gaged and replaced if needed. Petrol feed tube replaced with threaded ¼” tube fitting.
