Rack is
disassembled and cleaned. Power piston/ rotating union units are
inspected and then ultrasonically cleaned. Unit is reassembled with new
seals, bearings, gators and rotating union boot. Power piston assembly
as well as rotating union are pressure checked. Steering angles are set
and rack is centered prior to shipment. Body is repainted.
Note: LHS fluid
racks can suffer from mild to sever internal corrosion problems, if the
rack has been sitting unused for any period of time. In these cases it
is many times wiser to find a used LHM rack that can be rebuilt with LHS
compatible seals. |
